Blast Wagon is the solo project of Max Schramm. BW was founded in Eugene, Oregon in 2004. The BW operation moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota in early 2010, where it continues today. Since its inception, BW has released upwards of ten self-recorded and produced recordings, and is still very active. BW has been known to include several collaborators in the past, notably; V. Schramm, C. Berger, A. Ponto, and P. Hammons. These collaborations have, however, only taken place in a live music context. All of the music on the records was written, played, and recorded by Max.
